We have a few acers of wild plums in northern Clay County. We have been harvesting plums for the past couple of years to make jelly. Most of the plant groups are to thick to pick all the way through. We pick just around the outsides, maybe a few feet in. Some of the groups are 50 ft. deep and you can't get to the plums. These groups might be 100 ft. long (like an oval shape)
We really have no idea how to maintain these plans to make it easier to harvest and better on the plants .. any ideas/thoughts ?
And ... Just a little shot of the good juice
