All plants have been growing in the same spot since 2014, I have owned them since before 2010.
Weird growth patterns, some fans looked chewed on as they came up. First year I've seen this.

Does anyone have any ideas what I've got?

That's "spring sickness".

Yes, Sue is right. Definitely spring sickness. Last year I had a lot more than what has shown up this year (so far). It seems every time I think I got by with not too much spring sickness...I go out a week later and see it all over the place.

The clumps you have look pretty full. Don't do a thing with them. They will grow out of it and if they don't put on a good show this year, chances are they will be fine next year.

I've been dealing with spring sickness in my gardens for years and for the life of me I cannot come up with any scenario that caused it. (And neither can the experts.) I try to see or record a consistent occurrence over the years, but, NOTHING. So frustrating. I sure hope the experts can come up with something. It's driving me nuts. I just want to know...
