So acorns are essentially currency? Other than living off the generosity of others, how do I earn acorns? BTW Greene thanks so much for your generosity. My first badge will always remind me of you, kind of like some of my sentimental plants (the ones given to me)!

Okay, thanks also goes out to Vic and GardenGus, now I'm really blushing...gosh.

Oops, I also answered my own question. I learned about acorns here;

Welcome, Robin. ATP is really easy to navigate, you will find your way around in no time. Until then, just ask if you need help and seasoned veterans will be glad to help.

Thank-you very much Karen, I've already found a multitude of forums to follow. There's so much reading to catch up on, enough to totally skip gardening this season...

nah, you'll never catch me doing that (not as long as I'm mobile anyway).

You can catch up reading during the winter Robin. Smiling
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Please don't skip a season!! You would miss it terribley.
Back in 2006/2007 when I was making the adjustment after a disabling accident I thought I could not garden. Hilarious! Talk about limited mobility!
I soon figured out that I would find a way to garden no matter what it took. Limited to sitting in a chair or on a milk carton and working only with a small hand trowel I was able to create a tiny garden just outside the door. The exercise, sun and joy of watching plants grow helped me to get healthier.

Lol, Greene! As I wrote that I pictured me dragging myself somehow to the garden and you just brought a garden to the door. That's priceless, I love your ingenuity and determination!
I tip my hat to you.

Is there a "cuttings" or "grafting" badge that I'm not seeing? I would love to have one! Most of my babies are tropical and I do a lot of grafting, cutting, rooting, etc.
