Bombus sp. Tripod. Carefully removed the petals with a pair of scissors to get a better view of the bumblebees face. Careful to not awaken this sleepy little one
. This was taken in my own garden so it was okay to cut the petals. I removed some vignetting from this image as I used a Raynox DCR 250 attached to my Sigma 150 macro lens. At lower magnifications there is some serious vignetting with this combination on an APS-C sensor as it's not really designed for this use, but it goes away quickly at higher magnifications as in the first image.
