I very seldom buy an iris mostly for it's name, but I did get 2, one is Sammie's Jammies.
I got this one for my dog memorial bed in honor of one of my schnauzers who's name was Sammie. It hasn't boomed yet, but should next spring baring any issues. I like it well enough that I might have gotten it even if it had a different name.
I also got Man's Best Friend for that bed as well. (along with about 80 others that have noting to do with dogs!
)
What irises did you get mostly for the name? Would you get it even if it wasn't such a nice one just for the name?
