Donald, it should hold itself upright for now so no dreaded stakes needed yet.

Greg, I have never seen them bloom and could not find any pics of that on the net but I really think it is cresting.

Hetty, are you just going to tease us? Pictures pretty please! How common is it for them to crest? Do they normally start out that way? Or do they do like mine and have to be chopped and rooted again to have that nice specimen look?

I got this plant originally in 2011 as a tiny cutting and it grew into a nice multi branch clump. I moved it out side after a branch got snapped off two early one spring and the mother plant froze. This cresting one is the branch that got snapped off and has not offset since then and it has been a couple of years.
