They both came from Van Engelen, and they describe Pink Pearl as "fuchsia pink with paler edges", which doesn't quite match the name does it? Curiosity just got me looking through photos from last spring, and I found it! It is one they sold as Pink Pearl, and Jan Bos in the background.

I can see they open paler pink and age to almost hot pink. The one with the cruddy bloom in the pic is the one blooming, which now looks cruddy again since we've been having temps in the teens. I appears it tried to bloom too early last year too.
