The main destination were the gardens of Singapore but in general people don't care about orchids except as garden plants and gardens are rare as space is tight. I took around 1500 pictures on our trip which was three weeks cruising and on and off site seeing tours. Myanmar (Burma), Thailand and Malaysia along with Singapore were the destination countries. The Gardens by the Bay in Singapore should be on every plant lover's bucket list as least once in a lifetime. It was awesome there. The Orchid part of the Botanical Garden of Singapore was a bit of a disappointment in that they featured Asian plants and hardly any from the orchid world of Central and South America. I guess this is natural because those are the plants people can recognize and easily grow out in the open. Catts need more shade than nature allows.
