Yes, those are the lights I am using. I started mixing large batches of peroxide solution also. Saves time in the long run.

Root Riot cubes are made of a spongy composted material. Seeds planted in those have taken longer to sprout. That may just be the variety, assuming some naturally sprout faster than others. Supposedly the entire cube can be planted with no harm to the plant. We shall see. Until I have up potted some seedlings using these, I'm reserving judgement for now.

Yes Jiffy pellets do have that fabric. I have found it fairly easy to peel it away with no damage to the plant. I can see with as many seeds as you plant that removing the netting would be an extra job and time consuming.

Your planting media sounds interesting. Would like to see what the texture is like with all of those ingredients. Is that what you use for all of your seeds?
