One of the branches was pulled down too tightly and it bent a bit causing rot at the bend...so I had to cut it off. I waited a couple of months to see how well the cut stem would branch.

The cut stem branched out very well so I cut off the other stems.

Me thinks my future bonsai training will be limited to keeping overall plant size short and compact, as well as directing growth of branches, by diligent pruning. Sticking tongue out
