Thanks for all the ideas Lyn. Yellow climbers are few and far between. I'll search for the Albéric Barbier for sure. I have Vielchenblau, she is intertwined with Yellow Lady Banks. When I bought this property I put in my fruit trees first. Apples, Pears, Persimmon, Figs(cold hardy), Pomegranate and most Plums do well. Unfortunately the canyon begins to warm in spring and then it freezes (hard sometimes). My Apricots, Nectarine, Peach and sometimes Plums and Cherries try to push and after sap leeks out the trunks, disease leeks right in. ARGH. Tough lessons. Back to roses, I'll have to get onto HMF and check into those other varieties you mentioned. Thanks so much for the suggestions. OMG, I just noticed where you live! I LOVE WEAVERVILLE. Not to mention that Weaver is my maiden name. We contemplated moving there. Don't know if I could handle the snow. Blinking Too Fun. Thank You!
