May I suggest that you might get as dramatic an impact for a reasonable cost using some kind of flood / uplight on your tree.

You are planning to use the bottles in the most authentic way...bottle trees were used to scare a haint...the open mouth of the bottle hanging off a limb would catch the wind and " howl" thereby protecting the home from the spirits by scaring the tar out of them! The way I do it...on spikes...does not make a sound except when my tree eventually keels over.

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved
