Brugs can be a pain. I have planted some and they pop right up. Others like this year - total FAILURE.

You are in Florida Z9 so if you can get past all the bad guys, both Brugs and Datura should last a long time. I winter over my Brugs in the basement and my Datura in the garage her in Zone 5B. I do have 1 Brug I grew from seed 3 years ago and Datura from seed 1 and 2 years ago.

Brugs are pretty easy to grow from cuttings as well. I have tried a couple times, bot with 100 % success.
