Thanks Seedfork. I am glad you like the photos. I see a composting icon in your badges. Great. Since last year I am preparing a rose specific compost for my roses using kitchen waste.... still experimenting but I guess I have been able to workout a reasonably balanced NPK suited to my roses ( Equal N & K, reasonable Ca and just enough P & Mg, also including trace elements like Zn, Fe, Cu, Bo, S etc). So far my roses are doing very well with that homemade compost. I stopped spraying chemical pesticides & fungicides many years back and since last year, stopped using all synthetic fertilizers too. All my roses are 100% organic but that is a topic for discussion in a different thread.
