Here is a picture of my flower bed along the cement slab beside the garage. This was taken the first part of June. I put these border stones up last year but the wind and rain knocked them over and spread the mulch around.
I straightened up the border stone and picked up all the mulch that was were it wasn't suppose to be. I wasn't sure how I was going to keep the border in place so it wouldn't tip over again so I came up with this idea. I had a chicken/rooster collection so I decided to place them on the cement silo stones that the border stones are sitting on. I sure hope this works. I did one section with the chickens/rooster and the other 2 sections with other statues and knick knacks. I still need to replenish the mulch in this area and add some of my yard décor and then it is done.
Here are some other pictures of my finished beds. I added more plants and replenished the mulch in all of them. I just need to add some yard décor. This is the flower bed that runs along the south yard fence next to the pasture.
As you can see, I have plenty of room to add new flowers. I will add more every year. Here are a couple beds that are in the front yard.
