Very nice Tiffany!
The yard at our new house has so many trees and although my Callisia's don't get any direct sun, they are in very bright shade. I wish I had a spot where I could plant some of the variegated ones in the ground to see if their appearance and growth habit would be different than those in containers but we have a lot of Virginia Creeper vines as well as tons of invasive Arrowhead Vines that are taking over huge areas of the backyard! I'm sure the Callisia would be covered by all those weedy vines quickly if I planted them in the ground.
I would like to try to eradicate the non-native Arrowhead Vines and I yank a bit every time I'm outside. Some are easy to pull from sandy soil while others are a lot more difficult and the ones that have already grown up and over trees and shrubs have such thick stems that I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get rid of it all since they also grow epiphytically.
