Hi Rick,

You are very observant about those stigmas. You would make a good amateur zinnia breeder. Your interest in the leaf formation is also quite valid. The plant formation, and that includes leaf forms, is an important breeding goal for me. For example, check out the long, slim leaves on these indoor zinnias from previous years.
