Yikes, I didn't mean to come across as being snide but re reading my last reply, it sure sounds that way. Please forgive me if I caused offense, as it wasn't intended.

It is great that you mention the need for growing different plants that will provide nectar and food throughout the growing season; this is always a helpful reminder. Growing for the insects and pollinators is different than just growing something for the sake of beauty. I only know what host and nectar plants to grow because of the generosity of gardeners like you, who share so much here on the forums.

So please accept my apology for my recent reply, for the way it read. And thanks again for taking time out of your day to help me.
