TY for your note! When I get home from work, I can look through pics from that time and see if there is a pic of the label or other pics of that plant, which is unfortunately no longer with us, and may not have been a normal-looking specimen of its' kind in any case. It would have come from cactuscollection.com (Altman,) which I have found to have a very poor rate of success for correctly labeling their plants. So many of the plants I've purchased under that label were labeled incorrectly & about half of them have died because the horrible fibrous peat they use will not come off of roots and really kills plants in the moist, humid environment of south AL.

I have proposed the move you suggested, to genus-only Echeveria.
