Here's a barrel they had in the back yard. Now my husband, pictured, is 6 foot 6 inches tall. This barrel had to be at least 2.5 feet tall. Any guesses how old the barrel is?


Here's also a rather beautiful p.pear I had never seen before. Both salmon and yellow flowers. Does anyone know what variety this is?
I thought it was rather gorgeous.

I'm unsure on its validity, but I used to have a C&S book that said Golden Barrels are about 30-40 years old when they first bloom.
