Finally broke down and bought 2 dehumidifiers. Been thinking about getting one for a few years. Costco had them at a price I couldn't refuse. Sometimes our humidity inside our house gets a high as 63%! One is upstairs, one is downstairs. It pulls out 2-3 gallons a day EACH! I pull out the collection bucket and the banana trees are loving the extra water. I suppose it's not really free since it takes electricity to run the things. But the humidity is down 20% so there may be a savings using our HVAC. I am sure once the humidity evens out and it starts pulling less water, I won't get as much water collected. But for now, plants are happy and I am not wasting it.
Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love Truly, Laugh
uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you Smile.
