I did name my NOID Hemerocallis Blah-blah-blah but it still shows up at the top of the list, and I cannot see where I can associate it with the generic Hemerocallis entry. Since I don't do any sort of hybridizing, I have no need to keep the few daylily seedlings (gifts from other gardeners) separate.

I'll likely just continue my old work-around -- which is to assign an unknown plant to the cultivar it most closely resembles (so it has a separate spot in my list) and make a note in the comment section that I am guessing on the cultivar. I won't upload any photos to the main database (since I don't have a positive ID) but now can upload photos just to my inventory list, which will be lovely. And, that way, the mystery plant will show up with my other daylillies.

Trying out the new system and tweaking it for my personal uses.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
