Personally, I have no idea why anyone would have a private list. They are just plants. What you do or plan to do with them is of no consequence to me and I would have little interest in looking at your sub-lists, whether they are public or private. I'm fairly certain I wouldn't even know how to do that if it ever crossed my mind to do so... The only plant list I've ever even looked at other than my own is my sister's, to see what she might want from my yard (we use the 'want' option to identify plants to share). My general approach to web posting is anything I put on the internet is not-private, no matter what the setting might be, and I act accordingly.

I may be missing something, as I don't do any buying, selling or trading through this site, and perhaps that makes a difference in what others can or cannot see (?)
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
