Private Windows only mean the browsing history isn't stored locally, unfortunately. You can use some addons to blocking the tracking aspect of ads, but beyond that, there is almost no way to control who logs your traffic upstream (i.e. your ISP, etc.). In Australia we now have metadata laws that mean a lot of this browsing history must be recorded by the ISPs! Not too happy about that, but not much you can do without subscribing to an overseas VPN (and I'm somewhat skeptical of those, too).
