@tx_flower_child I, too, am disturbed by the lack of security-related material and general lack of awareness in this area the moment you step outside the IT field (I am an Electrical and Computer Systems Engineer and studied a lot of programming electives at university); even then it seems many who should know or build privacy and security into their designs don't, as we keep hearing of hacks and other security breaches in the news every few months over the past few years. There are some disturbing implications of the Internet of Things and our ever more connected world that I hope we don't regret in the coming years.
