Tonight I tried searching for 2 irises, to add them to my plant list. Neither of them showed up when I did the search (for iris <name>), yet when I tried to add them as new plants, in each case I got a message (are you sure you want to add this plant?) with a link to a database entry for the plant! What the heck? Confused

The plants were Iris 'Baltimore' (the search returned 'Lady Baltimore' and 'Lord Baltimore') and 'Adriatic Noble'.

The only reason I can think why they might not have shown up in the search is because they are 2017 intros. But still! I have the plants in my hot grubby hands, and the data IS there in the database, so I should be able to search and find them.

Also, when I add the plants to my plant list (from the page with the database entry), for some reason the view on my plant list keeps getting reset to show ALL the plants that I have, not just the irises. It's annoying (but not as annoying as searching for a plant that IS in the database, yet not being able to find it.)
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom
