I don't believe you can delete-delete, but I could be wrong. Why would that be any sort of issue? Just don't open that folder. I actually didn't realize I could create new folders, which I just did and will find that quite useful. Some notes have good info for future reference, others can just be quickly read then moved to the delete folder.
