Bkrell ~ I am located about 100 miles south of Shreveport in deep east TX along the LA border. My Crinums have had green foliage all summer and with the killing freeze this past week, the foliage has all died back.

In my experience, the Crinum bulbs are going to be quite large.
In this link to my blog, you will see photos of the size of the Crinum bulbs I dug up earlier this summer. https://garden.org/blogs/entry...

From your description, I would guess your bulbs will be either Narcissus or Daffodils. They are now beginning to put on new growth and the bulbs are similar. Freezes won't damage the foliage on these bulbs.

When they bloom, it will tell the tale. Please let us know...
Believe in yourself even when no one else will. ~ Sasquatch
