Oh my, I live in Oregon where pennyroyal is certainly the state plant. If anyone would like to have starts of pennyroyal, let me know and I'll send them to you for the postage, bare-rooted and all. Be cautious, though, as it does all of the above, but will take over in an even more aggressive fashion than the rest of the mint family. I notice that my chickens will pick at it and take baths in it, but they don't mow it down like they do other plants. I've thought that maybe it helps with internal and external parasites, but in small doses. It is considered a medicinal herb and has been used for centuries to control birth (abortifacient - ughhhh). Anyone wanting any can email me at [email protected] and will arrange to mail you some.
