Frank, the rule of thumb is not to use any product that has fats or oils in it as part of your spray solution when temps are expected to reach 85F on the day you spray or within at least a week after spraying. Many rosarians say that temps should be below 85F for at least 10 days.
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.
