Naked Lady (Amaryllis belladonna) remains in the Amaryllis genus; the few other species have been reclassified to other genera (mostly
Hippeastrum). I am not sure where the usage of "Amaryllis" as the common name for Hippeastrum plants originated, but it has well and truly stuck.
