That'll work. Even when they're small, they'll appreciate all the sun they can get, so try to get them outdoors in full sun every day you can. What you don't want to do is let them grow soft and weak behind glass in a warm house, develop long, thin, pale leaves and a corresponding small crown, and then put them outside. I don't imagine you'll have to worry too much about intense sun this time of year.
