Just remember, sometimes the very first bloom isn't quite as nice as subsequent blooms.

Now here is the sibling seedling. This is TTT26. It has the same exact parents and probably came from the same seed pod. The bud is looking a little different than TTT27. It is at least a week behind it's sibling.

So what do you think it's sibling will look like when it blooms?

Explain to me TTT26 and TTT27 - I figure the 26 and 27 are for the specific seeds from that batch, but what does the TTT mean? I am breeding some Amaryllis and would like to at least sound like I know what I am doing, so thanks for educating me. I don't have Irises, but follow your forum because all of you are so into breeding, and I love that. Would have Irises, but not enough room at my condo, so I will appreciate them through you. Your TTT26 bud looks longer than TTT27 - so perhaps longer, narrower petals? I can't wait to see both of them.
