Actually, the black-red flower color became somewhat of an obsession for me so I made a new garden built mostly around this color, contrasted with yellow-green flowers. This will be the first summer for blooms in this garden.
You might think that a black-red flower would be drab, but Cabernet Cabaret just glows! Perhaps some of you daylily experts (which I am not!) could explain why it glows.
