Dot - Thanks for trying to explain the purple color in your photos. Your photos aren't the only ones that showed purple. In the Plant Database, there were a few other photos of that color of bloom. I am also wondering if that color might show if the temps are cooler? It has been very warm here and I did not see the purple color at all this morning or this afternoon. It is more of a deeper maroon pink. My photos don't quite capture the color correctly.
