For the most part, mine have NOT come back year after year. I am treating them as annuals. Other people have had more reliability. I half way wonder if I am not planting them deep enough. FWIW, I've heard that the Darwin hybrids are supposed to be more perennial than others. The only one that has seemed to come back multiple years so far for me is all the Esperanto and some of the China Town.

This is what my Side Yard Spring Bulb Bed looked the spring after a mass planting of tulips, but barely any returns the following year
