Yesterday a new member posted a question and was apparently impatient because she posted it again a little later in the day.

I had lamely tried to give her some answers and said I hoped someone else would jump in. I also said (perhaps poorly worded) that I would get back to her later.

Last night I was scrolling through the AAQ forum and saw that she posted her question again. The 2nd post was shorter but still addressed the main issue. Plus, WillC replied to this 2nd post and might not have been aware of the first one.

I think I've seen other members do this on occasion. Or maybe it was a discussion about that practice. So anyway, do 'we' ever in some way combine or suggest combining or just comment about the duplication?

I'm not questioning anyone's ability to address the issue(s) posted. I'm the first to admit that I have a severe lack of knowledge. I just find it problematic when a member feels the need to post the same thing more than once in the same day. If no one else has a problem with duplicate posting then I'll just quietly slink away.
