Farmer Keeps Horses Dog Lover Birds The WITWIT Badge Plays in the sandbox
August 18th I got out of bed about 6 a.m. to give my dog his pill and when I went into the bird room to pull up the blinds, I saw my beautiful sun conure, Tweeter, was on the bottom of the cage, wings spread and she was dead. I kissed her good night the night before and she was fine. I have no idea what happened, but that is just a horrible way to begin the day. It was a difficult day since my daughter is still recovering from her hospital stay last week and we are all very tired. Stress makes you more tired than a hard days work as far as I am concerned. I decided to go to bed early since I was up early and busy all day. I looked at my messages on my phone and saw a post from the son of a long time friend of mine. The message said his Father (my best friend for years) lost his battle with Leukemia a few minutes prior. It took a few hours before I was able to fall asleep after speaking with the son of my friend. Another friend gone. So few left when you live to be 90. Which is how old I will be in a few days.

What a rotten day this was and I could not wait to say my prayers and go to sleep. Praying tomorrow would be a better day.
