Daylilies Native Plants and Wildflowers Vegetable Grower
I can relate. When I found out there were more daylilies than the ones you can find at Lowe's and the local garden centers, about 4 years ago, I'd google daylilies in different ways all the time looking for a new hybridizer to me... trying to figure out what else I've been missing all this time.

These days, when I'm stressed out, or deep in the winter when it has been too long, I have a few go-to growers and hybridizers whose sites I will just visit and look at the pictures to chase the stress away and simply enjoy the view. Bonnie Nichol's Oakhill Daylilies, Judy Davisson's daylilies, Gayle Story's Nature's Edge Daylilies and the first one I stumbled on, Paul Owen's Slightly Different Daylilies.

Pretty cool you found the one seedling that makes you feel all right. I don't think I could narrow it down to one. I'm too fickle.
