Daylilies
Isn't it nice that daylilies (and other flowering perennials and shrubs I suppose) sometimes are therapy? I have a couple go-to clumps in my landscape that during the summer never fail to have numerous great-looking blooms. And more than just something nice to look at, there's sometimes an emotional response—it's invigorating. Or it's calming.…

Did not really expect photos on my computer to have a similar effect! A pleasant surprise. Right now this specific photo just resonates with me. Maybe got so focused on details it's refreshing to just see simple purity. I suppose eventually it will need to be replaced with another… Nice idea to go to other hybridizers websites during the winter-- especially when the new releases are posted…
