I agree with Karen. A bad infestation of aphids. I use Bonide Horticultural spray too which is safe for all plants. It needs to be done every few days until you are sure they are gone. Every year when I move plants into the greenhouse I get attacks from aphids, spider mites or white flies. Irritating but hard for me to prevent.
