Incidentally, that scape on the right appears withered at the tip. I've had an aborted scape on this bulb before, so that might be happening again. However, there is actually a second scape on that "bulblet" on the left! It's hidden to the left of the emerging leaves.

Another thing I love about "Splash is that it has the most amazing peppery fragrance. I think I like it even more than Blossom Peacock.

Ron, your Belladonna looks very healthy indeed!


my belladonna is barely growing now,it is too cold , from about 45 F at night to maximum 60 F at day. Other amaryllis even loosing some leaves.
