Yes, I have grown Coelogyne Burfordiense for some years, I still have a plant.

I think it is is one of the most gorgeous of the Coelogynes, most which are sold as pandurata are actually Burfordiense which is asperata x pandurata. One drawback is that it will grow into gigantic plants, but there are ways to get around that - since the growth is linear, I have heard of people growing them successfully in long raingutters. For some years I had a plant in a long window box. But also in a square basket and in a round bowl. Everything goes!
I grow it in Summer outside a bit shaded, in the greenhouse light as one does for Phals, with some morning or late afternoon sun, not super bright Cattleya light.
I always have it in bark and keep it evenly moist. Temps are intermediate to warm.

Did I mention that these are the prettiest of all Coelogynes? Smiling
I should add, there is no dry season for this one, at least not in my hands.
