Yes, it is a Phalaenopsis orchid. You are overwatering - it should be watered only when you can't feel any moisture in the bark. It should be planted in chunky bark, not soil. Place it so the plant receives bright light but no direct sun. If the window is bright enough to make succulents happy, it is way too much light for a Phalaenopsis. Your temperatures should be fine.

PS: Ignore what Stefan says about orchid care. He grows cactus, not orchids. Hilarious!


Actually i sorta do assist/part time care in growing orchids. And i also grow tropicals(but not that much). If its too much light , why are both blooming right now(one even multi branch bloom)?Post photos later? I'm all ears!
