Looks like the first bloom is close to opening! It's got some decent branching and bud count for a seedling's first bloom. I haven't had time to do the stats yet on it. Hopefully it will be blooming in the next couple of days.
It looks like there is 3 or possibly 4 branches with a current total of 18 buds so far!

So what is your take on the bloom color looking at the underside of the bud? It sure looks similar to CCC01. Looks like deep reddish or purplish petals with a wide yellow eye. Not a large bloom though, Maybe 4 1/2"? Not sure.
Perhaps Maroon color? I can't quite tell what color the bloom will likely be. I don't usually look at the underside of any of my daylily blooms enough to know if this is showing the true bloom color or a variation of what the bloom will look like. Opinions, anyone?
