Sounds like me last year (so far this year is going the same way). I had more bud drop last year than I ever had in over a decade of growing daylilies. I thought all the rain would be great for the garden but not really.

That being said, Avedon, you are in a much warmer climate so your plants might really like a respite from so much heat and sun. I think the further south you go the more plants appreciate extra water.

For those daylilies that ended up blooming the lack of sun didn't seem to bother them. Too bad I couldn't say the same for my tomato plants! Glare
