I bought my first at an orchid show. It had two flower spikes and of course I was very excited to see it bloom. Unfortunately shortly after I got it home, I noticed black spots on some of the leaves and watched as some of the leaves turned yellow.
I contacted the seller and she said the plant must have gotten cold which I know was not the case.
Eventually and to my horror the buds and spikes blackened. I couldn't stand it so I removed them and the damaged leaves. I treated the remainder with hydrogen peroxide. All was well for a number of weeks but now I see two more leaves are turning yellow and have spots on them.
Can anyone tell me what to do? Right now I'm in Connecticut but will be moving to the Sebastian FL area in two weeks.
