The other parent I think is Galeandra. I do think that the plant may have been exposed to the cold. Damage is quick and sweeping and extensive.
This type of Orchid needs cooler temperatures which would be low 70's in the summer days, 68-72 during the winter.
They like cooler nights of around 58-62 during the summer and 52-56 or so during the winter. They like a media with a small particle size. They do better in plastic pots because they hold more moisture. They also require limited direct sunlight. Maybe an hour or so in the morning, then just bright for the remainder of the day. They should be watered well and then dry out a bit before being watered again. (They should not go bone dry between waterings) limited fertilizer at 1/4 strength quarterly.
Good luck and I hope you read and browse all of our threads to learn about growing orchids.
I gave you cultural directions in general because as the plant is a hybrid we can't be specific. We CANT tell you so much of this and so much of that and exactly so many degrees for so many days. But make sure the pot has adequate drainage holes and you do not grow it within another pot. That leads to drying issues. I tip my hat to you.
