The next of my Cymbidiums to flower this season is a seedling of Orchid (Cymbidium erythraeum var. flavum 'Paradise') X Orchid (Cymbidium erythraeum var. erythraeum 'Lois'). I'm pleased with the result - it has produced 8 flowers on its first flowering and has two new growths. It seems a lot more compact than Cym. erythraeum var. erythraeum. It has the lip from var. erythraeum, the colour from var. flavum and the shape is partway between the two.
