You know, Smiling I used to do vermiculture for quite a few years. Then I stopped. I found the process of getting the worms out of the finished vermiculture to be too tedious.

So, I've learned a lot so far! Thank You! I've had to reread these posts over a few times to let things sink in. My next question has to do with fertilizing.

So....if one has ammended the potting soil with stuff for the worms to eat...does one have to fertilize at all? I've bought a lot of different types of organic fertilizer which I use in different ways. For example, in the spring...I'll use ones with more nitrogen. In the peak flowering period...more phosporous. Then I've got more balanced ones for when it rains a lot...then everything needs replenishing. So, if they help...I'd still like to use them.
Another question is how often. I've been fertilizing weakly weekly. But with all the month long rain we've had...I've been weakly feeding twice a week. What are your thoughts on this?

Almost all of my matte leafed roses have powdery mildew from all of this rain. So I'm going to steep some cinnamon in water, strain it, then spray it on the rose leaves. I don't know if summer will ever come. Sad

Thank You! Thank You!
